Etihad soars into Peshawar with new direct flights
ABU DHABI – Etihad Airways has launched its inaugural direct flight from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar, marking its fourth nonstop destination in Pakistan after Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The service, operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with 8 Business and 150 Economy seats, begins with five flights per week and will increase to daily from 20 November.
The route is designed to serve the 1.5 million Pakistanis living in the UAE, while boosting business, tourism and trade between the two countries.
Peshawar joins Etihad’s growing global network of 83 destinations, as the airline continues rapid expansion across South Asia, Africa and Asia-Pacific, with new services launching to Medan, Phnom Penh, Addis Ababa, Krabi, Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, Algiers and Medina.
